Multiplicação por Mudas: Reprodução Vegetal Segura, Simples e Rápida
Uma técnica de multiplicação eficaz é através de mudas, que demanda pouco tempo e garante resultados excelentes. Essa técnica geralmente é realizada em março. Basta selecionar uma planta madura, com pelo menos um ano de idade, e focar nos “filhotes” que crescem ao lado dela.
Esses filhotes são facilmente reconhecíveis, semelhantes à planta principal, mas em miniatura, e estão ligados a ela. Depois de identificá-los, separe-os da planta mãe, cortando delicadamente as raízes com tesouras esterilizadas, se necessário.
Uma vez separadas, plante as mudas em um vaso com uma mistura de areia e turfa e coloque-as em um local ensolarado, mas não diretamente exposto à luz solar. Mantenha a temperatura em torno de 20°C e regue o solo sem exagerar. Com o tempo, as suculentas começarão a crescer e se tornarão plantas independentes, seguindo os mesmos cuidados da planta mãe.
Segundo Método: Multiplicação por Estacas
O segundo método, tão simples quanto o primeiro, é menos eficaz e seu sucesso não é garantido. Basta separar uma folha da planta escolhida com cuidado. Escolha uma folha grande, grossa e saudável. Plante a folha, enterrando sua parte basal, em um vaso com uma mistura de areia e turfa, mantendo as proporções iguais. Regue o solo e coloque a muda em um local luminoso, com temperatura entre 15 e 18°C.
Após algumas semanas, as raízes devem começar a se desenvolver, permitindo que novas folhas cresçam e a planta se reproduza. Quando a planta atingir um tamanho adequado, transplante-a para um vaso maior.
Esse método é mais desafiador e seu sucesso não é garantido, mas se não funcionar, você pode tentar novamente ou escolher um método mais simples.
Multiplicação por Sementes: Método Tradicional
O método tradicional, embora mais lento, é seguro e permite observar todas as fases de crescimento das suculentas. Esse método é realizado entre janeiro e março. Encha um vaso com duas partes de areia e uma parte de terra.
Enterre as sementes a cerca de um centímetro de distância uma das outras. Mantenha o solo sempre úmido e coloque o vaso ao sol, sem exposição direta, a uma temperatura mínima de 16°C. Após três semanas, os primeiros brotos deverão surgir. Após um mês, as plantas começarão a crescer e se desenvolver.
Quando as plantas atingirem o tamanho adequado, transplante-as para vasos maiores. Esse método é gratuito, embora mais lento, e não exige muito esforço. Tudo que é necessário é um pouco de paciência, e as plantas se desenvolverão sozinhas.
