Um super truque para semear legumes. Só preciso de caixas de ovos para isso. Experimentei com cenouras e também com rabanetes e FUNCIONOU

A recent winter was unusually cold. However, despite bidding it a slow but sure farewell, we are preparing everything for spring planting.

I want to show you an excellent idea for sowing seeds in egg cartons. Thanks to this method, seedlings grow faster, and therefore, you’ll have fruits much sooner. I first sow radishes this way, but I proceed in the same manner with carrots or celery.

I saw this trick in my neighbor’s garden, tried it out last year, and now I don’t even consider other options. Planting in egg cartons has several advantages. Besides the earlier germination mentioned earlier, your plants are protected from weeds, and as the cartons decompose, you also have mulch taken care of.

Planting seeds in egg cartons

You will need:

Egg cartons

Knife

Seeds

Plastic bag

Procedure:
Use a knife to make holes in each egg carton.

Fill the holes with soil and make indentations for the seeds.

Place 1-2 seeds in each cell, cover them with soil, and water lightly.

Place the egg carton in a plastic bag and leave it in a warm place.

When the first shoots appear, place the tray under a lamp or in direct sunlight. When the seedlings are ready for planting, simply place the entire carton with the seedlings into the soil, lightly cover with soil, and water.

This method is very simple and effective. Seedlings grow quickly, are protected from weeds, and the garden looks tidy. I’ve been using it in my garden for the second year now, and I’m very satisfied with this idea.
